6.A. - Page 6 of 9 <br />EXHIBIT "A" <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEE <br />Scope Adjustments That Require Budget Increases <br />Consultant shall direct its sub consultant, Hexagon Transportation Consultants, to <br />complete the tasks set forth below: <br />1. Revise Trip Generation: Based on the new project description, Hexagon will <br />revise the trip generation estimates to reflect the reduction in building square <br />footage and the addition of a new daycare facility. <br />2. Revise Trip Distribution and Assignment: The directional distribution of site - <br />generated traffic will be re -forecast based on the existing travel patterns in the <br />vicinity and the locations of complementary land uses. Updated site -generated <br />traffic will be added to the roadway network based on the estimated trip <br />distribution pattern. <br />3. Data Collection: New intersection turning movement counts (seven intersections) <br />will be conducted during the AM and PM peak hours for those study <br />intersections. Also, new weekday and weekend counts, not included in the <br />previous June 2018 counts, are needed for the added study intersection at <br />Hudson Street and Madison Avenue (see Task 5). <br />4. 2018 Traffic Counts: Additional traffic counts were conducted at the following <br />seven study intersections (in addition to the original eight study intersections to <br />include four of the newly requested intersections listed in Task 5) on one <br />weekday and two weekend days in late May and early June in 2018 while school <br />was still in session. <br />• Valota Road/ Vera Avenue <br />• Valota Road/ National Guard Driveway <br />• Iris Street/ Jefferson Avenue <br />• Hawes Street/ Jefferson Avenue <br />• Hawes Street/ Madison Avenue <br />• Roosevelt Avenue/ Hudson Street <br />• Roosevelt Avenue/ King Street <br />The cost for the completed counts, which were outside of the original scope of <br />work, is included in this Amendment. <br />REV: 02-26-19 DZ <br />Page 3 of 6 <br />ATTY/AGR.Amend No. 2 /David J.
