Box 391 Redwood City, CA 94063 Phone: (650) 780-7219 Fax: (650)780-7309 SCOPE OF WORK The purpose of this program is to conduct predator damage management to reduce predation of the federally listed California Ridgeway Rails and Salt Marsh Harvest Mouse from various predators as listed in the City of Redwood City's Predator Management Plan for Redwood Shores Peninsula as outlined in the Cooperative Service Agreement 18 -73 -06 -5334 -RA. Upon receipt of funds from the City of Redwood City for Predator Management, USDA -APHIS -WS will continue ongoing predator management activities. 2. USDA -APHIS -WS will attempt to work this project with another project when possible, to make the predator management activities stretch over a longer time period each year. USDA -APHIS -WS will conduct predator removal activities within the guidelines described in the City of Redwood City Predator Management Plan for the Redwood Shores Peninsula. 4. There will be occasional periodic compulsory training required for safety and skill enhancements that the USDA -APHIS -WS employee will be required to complete, while charging against this contract. USDA -APHIS -WS employee working this project will keep the City apprized of predator management activities on a monthly basis while work is being conducted. USDA -APHIS -WS will monitor and remove when necessary, predators that are affecting endangered or threatened species using techniques and tools described in the City's predator Management Plan for the Redwood Shores Peninsula.
