The recruitment period ended on March 22,
2019.
ANALYSIS
The recruitment process included outreach through the City's website and all the City's social media
platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Linkedln) as well as announcements during City Council meetings and
advertisements on the City's government channels.
The City Clerk's office received a total of 10 applications. One application to the Planning Commission was
received but is ineligible for consideration because the applicant lives in unincorporated Redwood City.
After the close of the application period, two applicants to the Planning Commission withdrew from
consideration and one applicant to the Civic Cultural Commission was out of the country on the date of
the scheduled interviews but expressed his desire to still be considered for appointment.
