6/26/00 <br />0 R I G I DI A L <br />RESOLUTION NO. 13928 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF PURCHASE DOCUMENTS FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE <br />(1) KONICA 7065 COPIER FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS <br />SERVICES DEPARTMENT <br />WHEREAS, written bids without public advertisement were solicited for <br />the purchase of one (1) copier for the Public Works Services Department of the <br />City of Redwood City; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said solicitation, five bids were received; and <br />WHEREAS, Konica Business Technologies, Inc. of San Jose, California, <br />is the lowest responsible bidder (meeting the City's specifications) and it is the <br />intention and desire of this Council to accept the bid of Konica Business <br />Technologies, Inc.; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The bid of Konica Business Technologies, Inc., for the purchase of one <br />(1) Konica 7065 Copier to the City of Redwood City in the total amount of <br />Seventeen Thousand Fifty and No /100 Dollars ($17,050.00) and in accordance <br />with said bidder's proposal dated May 17, 2000, is hereby accepted, and said <br />bidder is hereby declared to be the lowest responsible bidder in response to <br />solicitation for bids without advertisement for said copier. <br />Resa923 1 <br />FXS /fs <br />R/S hared /Redwood /Council <br />06/20/00 <br />
