6/26/00 <br />0 R I 0 I N A L <br />RESOLUTION NO. 13926 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF AGREEMENT FOR FACILILTY RENOVATION <br />(POPLAR RECARE) <br />WHEREAS, the Poplar ReCare (Contractor) conducts an educational and <br />vocational services program for infants, children, adults, and seniors with <br />disabilities for residents of the City of Redwood City (the Program); and <br />WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to <br />conduct the Program during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1999, and <br />ending June 30, 2000; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and <br />desires to allocate to Contractor, the sum of Twenty One Thousand and no /100 <br />Dollars ($21,000.00) from its Community Development Block Grant funds for the <br />foregoing purposes; and <br />WHEREAS, an agreement providing for such funding has been presented <br />to, and reviewed by, this Council; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve said <br />agreement and authorize its execution; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />Reso -912 1 <br />F:/SharedRedwood/Counci I <br />FXS:djk <br />06/08/00 <br />
