<br />'-'--:~ <br /> <br />DAS:djk 11/28/88 <br /> <br />(#012/24) <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />10944 <br /> <br />DEe 5 1988 <br /> <br />COPy <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CITY CLERK TO ACCEPT GRANTS OR <br />DEEDS ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AND <br />RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 7101 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 27281 of the Government Code of the State <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />California <br /> <br />requires <br /> <br />that <br /> <br />deeds <br /> <br />or <br /> <br />grants <br /> <br />conveying <br /> <br />any <br /> <br />interest <br /> <br />in <br /> <br />or <br /> <br />easement <br /> <br />upon <br /> <br />real <br /> <br />estate <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />political <br /> <br />corporations be accepted by the grantee prior to being recorded; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />said Section 27281 provides a method whereby an <br /> <br />officer or agent may be authorized by the political corporation <br /> <br />to accept such deeds or grants on its behalf; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />That Arlyn C. <br /> <br />Jorgenson, <br /> <br />Ci ty Clerk of the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City, <br /> <br />be <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />she <br /> <br />hereby <br /> <br />is <br /> <br />authorized <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />accept, <br /> <br />on <br /> <br />behalf of the City of Redwood City, all deeds or grants conveying <br /> <br />an <br /> <br />interest <br /> <br />in or <br /> <br />easement <br /> <br />upon <br /> <br />real <br /> <br />estate <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />City <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />Redwood City. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />That Resolution No. 7101, adopted January 21, 1974, by <br /> <br />the Council of the City of Redwood City, is hereby rescinded. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111I <br /> <br />2000-161391 <br />12/20/2000 02:55P <br />DE Page: 6 of 9 <br /> <br />10944 <br />
