<br />be replaced by Owner at the time of the final inspection of the Improvements, if any, hereunder <br /> <br />by City. <br /> <br />6. <br /> <br />OWNERSHIP OF IMPROVEMENTS. <br /> <br />It is agreed that title and ownership of all <br /> <br />Improvements constructed for the benefit of City hereunder by Owner shall vest absolutely in <br /> <br />City upon completion and acceptance of such Improvements by City. <br /> <br />7. <br /> <br />WORK SUBJECT TO APPROVAL. All work provided for in this Agreement and <br /> <br />more specifically described in the plans and specifications herein referenced shall be subject <br /> <br />to the approval and acceptance by the Manager, Engineering and Construction before the <br /> <br />release of any security required herein. Reference is hereby made to (a) that certain final map <br /> <br />entitled, "Valota Estates", (b) those certain specifications entitled, "Supplemental Specifications <br /> <br />for Civil/Landscape/Irrigation Improvements", (c) those certain plans on file in the office of the <br /> <br />Manager, Engineering and Construction entitled, "Improvement Plans - Va Iota Estates", and <br /> <br />Redwood City", adopted February 24, 1997, for a more particular description of the work and <br /> <br /> <br />(d) those certain revised specifications entitled, "Engineering Standards for the City of <br /> <br />Improvements generally described in this Agreement. Said final map, plans and specifications <br /> <br />referenced in this paragraph are hereby incorporated herein and made a part of this <br /> <br />Agreement. Upon completion of the aforementioned work, and prior to the release of any <br /> <br />security required herein, Owner shall furnish City with a complete set of plans and drawings <br /> <br />showing the Improvements in their actual or "as-built" condition and location. Partial release of <br /> <br />any security required herein may be granted, at the discretion of City, in accordance with the <br /> <br />provisions of Section 66499.7 of the Government Code. <br /> <br />8. <br /> <br />GUARANTEE OF WORKMANSHIP AND MATERIALS. <br /> <br />Owner agrees that if, <br /> <br />within a period of one (1) year after final acceptance of any work done under this Agreement, <br /> <br />the improvements furnished and/or installed or constructed or caused to be constructed by <br /> <br />Owner, or any of the work done under this Agreement, fails to fulfill any of the requirements of <br /> <br />-5- <br /> <br />Agreement - Valota Estates <br />1117197 <br />
