Middlefieldffheatre Way 1\ Improvements - City Council/Redevelopment <br />Agency <br /> <br />Staff contact: Susan Moeller, Redevelopment Manager 780-7204 smoeller@redwoodcity.org <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br />Review, modify if appropriate, and approve the revised design concept for the <br />pedestrian improvements along Middlefield Road between Veterans Boulevard <br />and Broadway. Authorize staff to proceed with a finalized design, construction <br />drawings, and bid packages. <br /> <br />B. Capital Improvement Program Short Term Spending Limit <br /> <br />Staff contact: Chu Chang, Manager, Engineering and Construction 780-7382 <br />cchang@redwoodcity.org <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br />Review and provide direction to staff regarding the proposed short term spending <br />limit for the FY 2006-2007 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) budget. <br /> <br />9. MATTERS OF COUNCil INTEREST - <br /> <br />A. Legislation (information only) - This sub-section involves possible discussion of <br />City Position on Proposed Legislation described in the League of California Cities <br />Priority Focus Bulletin No. 27-2006 and No. 28-2006. Council may direct staff to <br />act on positions taken by Council. (Copies of League of California Cities Priority <br />Focus available in City Clerk's Department.) <br /> <br />10.
