Box 391 <br />Redwood City, California 94064 <br />Telephone (415) 780-7234 <br />FAX # 780-7348 <br /> <br />August 6, 1996 <br /> <br />Mr. Doug Thomas <br />Thomas Realty Advisors <br />1524 Cypress Avenue <br />Burlingame, Ca. 94010 <br /> <br />Dear Doug: <br /> <br />This letter constitutes Planned Development Permit PD10307-5 for the <br />Electronic Arts Project. <br /> <br />On July 15, 1996, the City Council of Redwood City approved, subject to the <br />conditions stated below, the application of Electronic Arts Redwood, Inc., as <br />agent for Flatirons Funding, Limited Partnership for a Planned Development <br />Permit to construct a 1,000,000 sq. ft. office complex and 50,000 sq. ft. special <br />purpose accessory building on its property located at the intersection of Twin <br />Dolphin Drive and Redwood Shores Parkway at Redwood Shores. <br /> <br /> <br />The approved project is more fully described in the Master Plan for Electronic <br />Arts Headquarters, dated December, 1995, as amended to the date of this <br />authorization ("Master Plan"). The Master Plan is incorporated by reference <br />into this Planned Development Permit. <br /> <br />The City Council denied all appeals of the following Planning Commission <br />deåsions to approve the following resolutions: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />Resolution No. PC-96-1, Resolution Approving The Technical <br />Addendum To The Redwood Peninsula Environmental Impact <br />Report And Certifying The Redwood Peninsula Impact Report <br />And Technical Addendum As The Project Environmental <br />Impact Report and adopting Findings, Facts in Support of <br />Findings, and Statement of Overriding Considerations <br />Regarding the Environmental Impact Report for the Electronic <br />Arts Headquarters Master Plan and adopting a Mitigation <br />Monitoring Program; and <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />Resolution No. PC-96-2, Resolution Approving The Planned <br />Development Permit approving Planned Development Permit <br />PD1O307-5, -adopting Findings of Consistency Between the <br /> <br />EXHIBIT <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />]-1 <br />
