<br />EXHIBIT "A" <br /> <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES & FEE ESTIMATE <br /> <br />Itemized List of what Consultant will do for City and at what price and schedule. <br /> <br />Scope Of Work: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />Audit five (sub) contractor payroll records and compliance documents to verify labor compliance <br />with REDWOOD CITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY prevailing wage policies and/or Project <br />Labor Agreement, <br />Review bid language or other contract compliance documentation to ensure that the REDWOOD <br />CITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY policy requirements for this and future redevelopment, <br />housing, or other relevant construction projects meet current and future prevailing wage <br />compliance goals. <br />Assess wage restitution (and perhaps also penalties) if recommended, to be paid by (sub) <br />contractors hired by tenants of "On Broadway Project" because of (willful) non-compliance with <br />hourly rates, fringe benefits, apprentice ratios, or other prevailing wage stipulations indicated in <br />their Lease Agreement with the project developer (The INNISFREE Companies), and required by <br />the REDWOOD CITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY. <br />Provide written recommendations to the REDWOOD CITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY, <br />Facilitate mediation processes to resolve outstanding prevailing wage compliance issues, <br />Function as liaison between REDWOOD CITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY, the project <br />developer, and community stakeholders, as directed by the REDWOOD CITY <br />REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY. <br />Allow broadening of this scope of work to assist the REDWOOD CITY REDEVELOPMENT <br />AGENCY meet current and future prevailing wage compliance goals. <br />Project completion estimated for September 1, 2006. Start-Up Fee due on July 12, 2006 $1,800.00 <br />. A minimum monthly retainer of $2,500.00 will be <br /> 0 due August 1, 2006 $2,500.00 <br /> 0 and September 1, 2006 $2,500.00 <br />. Final Retention due 10 days after project completion $1,000.00 <br />. Service fee estimate for a total of 120 Hours: $7,800.00 <br /> <br />Note* An additional service rate of $65.00 per hour make be billed for this project if more than 120 hours <br />Is needed to complete the scope of work described above. <br />Note** Project amendments that impact the scope of work or fees must be approved by both parties. <br />Note*** The project completion date, Le. September 1, 2006 may alter if the scope of work is changed or <br />more than 120 hours is required to complete the project as a result of those changes.
