4/10/00 <br />O R I G I N A L <br />RESOLUTION NO. 13871 <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ISSUANCE OF LETTER PERMIT <br />TO POST "NO PARKING" SIGNS TO PROHIBIT PARKING ON <br />CERTAIN STREETS ON AUGUST 6, 2000, DURING THE TOUR <br />DE PENINSULA <br />(SAN MATEO COUNTY PARKS AND RECREATION <br />FOUNDATION FUNDRAISER) <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />That certain letter permit issued to The San Francisco Chronicle and <br />RhodyCo Productions to conduct the Tour de Peninsula bicycle ride in the City of <br />Redwood City and the authority to post "No Parking" signs along Brewster <br />Avenue in both directions between Duane Street and Alameda de las Plugas, <br />and on the east side of Alameda de las Plugas from Brewster Avenue to <br />Edgewood Road to prohibit parking on August 6, 2000, from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m., in <br />the form of Exhibit "A" hereof, attached hereto and by this reference incorporated <br />herein, is hereby approved, and the regulation of the public rights -of -way <br />described therein is hereby adopted pursuant to Vehicle Code Section 21100, <br />and the Chief of Police is hereby authorized to issue said permit. <br />Reso -845 .j <br />DES:djk <br />F: /Shared /Redwood /Council <br />03/21/00 <br />
