Approval of Specific Location within Red Morton Park for Skate Facility; (613) <br /> <br /> Parks, Recreation and Community Services Superintendent Beth gave the report on the <br /> various sites within Red Morton Park and the recommendation to locate the skate park in <br /> the center of the park. <br /> <br /> Recommendation: <br /> M/S Claire/Ira to approve the area between BechetYGriffin Fields and the Nevada Street <br /> Parking Area as the site (3A) for the Skate Facility. The motion passed by a unanimous roll <br /> call vote. MINUTE ORDER 01-122 <br /> <br /> B. Application to Participate in High Efficiency Clothes Washer Rebate Program;(802) <br /> Public Works Director Ingram gave the background on the program. <br /> <br /> M/S Hartnett/Ira to adopt the following recommendations: <br /> i) Authorize application to participate in high efficiency clothes washer rebate <br /> program for Fiscal Year 2001/2002; <br /> <br /> ii) Set rebate amount per customer at $150.00, and; <br /> <br /> iii) Establish retroactive effective date for rebate eligibility of July 1,2001; and <br /> MINUTE ORDER 01-123 <br /> <br /> iv) RESOLUTION 14368 AUTHORIZING APPLICATION TO PARTICIPATE IN <br /> HIGH EFFICIENCY CLOTHES WASHER REBATE PROGRAM WITH THE <br /> BAY AREA WATER USERS ASSOCIATION (BAWUA). <br /> <br /> The motion passed by a majority roll call vote with Council Member Jordan voting no. <br /> <br /> C.El Camino Real Landscaping; (304) <br /> <br /> City Engineer Lynch explained the project. <br /> <br /> M/S Hartnett/Howard to adopt RESOLUTION 14369 ACCEPTING BID FOR EL CAM1NO <br /> REAL MEDIANS LANDSCAPING PROJECT; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITIES DEPOSITS <br /> (John Clay General Engineering). <br /> <br /> The motion passed by a unanimous roll call vote by those present. <br /> <br /> REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING AUGUST 27, 2001 <br /> Minutes PAGE 7 <br /> M1NUTES Book No. 58 <br /> Page No. 498 <br /> <br /> <br />
