0 C I r I J A L <br />RESOLUTION NO. 13gr)2 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />AMENDING RESOLUTION NOS. 13849 AND 13850 RELATING TO <br />CITY OF REDWOOD CITY COMMUNITY FACILITIES DISTRICT NO. 2000-1 <br />(PACIFIC SHORES PROJECT) <br />4/10/00 <br />WHEREAS, it is proposed to establish a community facilities district within the City of <br />Redwood City under the terms of the Community Facilities Act of 1982, Chapter 2.5 of Part 1 of <br />Division 2 of Title 5 of the California Government Code, commencing with Section 53311, to be <br />known as "City of Redwood City Community Facilities District No. 2000 -1 (Pacific Shores <br />Project)" (the "CFD "); and <br />WHEREAS, in connection with the initiation of proceedings to form of the CFD, the City <br />Council, on March 13, 2000, adopted Resolution No. 13849 and 13850 (collectively, the "Initial <br />Resolutions "); and <br />WHEREAS, the Initial Resolutions provided for a public hearing to be held on April 17 <br />regarding the proposed formation of the CFD and the issuance of bonds secured by a special tax <br />to be levied in the CFD; and <br />WHEREAS, The City Council now desires to hold such public hearing on April 24, at the <br />same place and time as set forth in the Initial Resolutions. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as follows: <br />1. The above recitals are true and correct. <br />2. The Initial Resolutions and attachments thereto are hereby amended to change the <br />references therein from April 17 to April 24. <br />3. The City Clerk is hereby directed to have the Notice of Public Hearing attached to <br />Resolution No. 13849 published once in The Redwood City Almanac no later than April 13, <br />2000. <br />4. The City Clerk is hereby directed to mail by first -class mail a copy of the Notice <br />of Public Hearing to the property owners within the CFD no later than April 7, 2000. <br />Pacific Shores Amending Resolution <br />
