I N A L <br />RESOLUTION NO. 13860 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF EASEMENT AND COVENANTS AGREEMENT RELATING TO <br />REDWOOD SHORES LAGOON ACCESS <br />(REDWOOD SHORES OWNERS ASSOCIATION) <br />WHEREAS, Redwood Shores Owners Association ( "RSOA ") is the owner <br />of certain real property adjacent to Redwood Shores Lagoon, including a boat <br />ramp and park and recreational facilities; and <br />WHEREAS, through cooperation with RSOA, the City of Redwood City <br />has used the boat ramp for access to Redwood Shores Lagoon for lagoon <br />maintenance purposes; and <br />WHEREAS, the boat ramp and certain other facilities located on the <br />aforesaid property require repair and reconstruction; and <br />WHEREAS, the aforesaid property and facilities are located within <br />Redwood CityGeneral Improvement District No. 1 -64 ( "GID 1 -64 "); and <br />WHEREAS, funds are available for the aforesaid repairs and <br />reconstruction work in the GID 1 -64 fund administered pursuant to a <br />development agreement entered into by and between the City of Redwood City <br />and the developer of the Redwood Shores Area of the City of Redwood City for <br />the aforesaid reconstruction work; and <br />WHEREAS, the City requires assurance that it shall have continuing <br />access to Redwood Shores Lagoon for lagoon maintenance purposes; and <br />Reso-848 1 <br />FAsharedVedwoodkouncil <br />DES:djk <br />03/22/00 <br />
