AGREEMENT <br /> <br /> PROFESSIONAL CONSULTING SERVICES <br /> (FREEDMAN TUNG & BOTTOMLEY) <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT is made and entered into this __ day of , <br />2002, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a charter city and municipal <br />corporation ("City"), REDWOOD CiTY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY, a redevelopment <br />agency of the State of California ("Agency"), and FREEDMAN TUNG & BO'I-I-OMLEY, <br />a California sole-proprietorship, whose address is 47 Kearny Street, Suite 500, San <br />Francisco, California, 94108 ("Consultant") (collectively, the "Parties"). <br /> <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City and Agency are pursuing various projects in the downtown and <br />environs that will implement the Downtown Area Plan (collectively the "Project"); and <br />also seek expertise to provide further training to existing City and Agency staff in urban <br />design review; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, from time to time, the City and Agency require professional <br />consulting services to provide urban design and urban planning services, including <br />design review and possible assistance in management of the development review <br />process; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Consultant represents that it possesses the experience and is <br />qualified to perform the aforesaid services for the Project. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> <br />F:Atty/Agr/Agr.065 <br />092602 1 <br /> <br /> <br />
