g. Review programmatic complaints of any CITY and <br /> programmatic data provided by COUNTY CONTP~ACTOR. <br /> <br /> h. Review revenues and expenditures relating to Animal <br /> Control Services. <br /> <br /> i. Review the Cities' cost sharing formula. <br /> <br /> j. Review and develop performance measures, in conjunction <br /> with COUNTY CONTRACTOR staff, which will provide valid <br /> and reliable data by which to evaluate the level of <br /> service being provided by the COUNTY CONTRACTOR. <br /> <br /> k. In conjunction with COUNTY CONTRACTOR and the COUNTY <br /> Division of Revenue Services, study the costs associated <br /> with implementing door-to-door canvassing as a means to <br /> increase the number of animal licenses within the COUNTY. <br /> Research and develop a cost estimate and proposal for <br /> door-to-door canvassing. <br /> <br /> 1. In conjunction with COUNTY CONTRACTOR, study the <br /> implementation of recommendations of Phase II of the <br /> "DMG-MAXIMUS Financial Review of the Peninsula Humane <br /> Society for the County of San Mateo" study, including re- <br /> opening the Animal Control agreement if appropriate. <br /> Also, assign a representative to report back to the CITY <br /> Managers' Association regarding implementation of these <br /> proposed recommendations and any other relevant <br /> information. <br /> m. The Animal Control Task Force shall submit a written <br /> report of its activities to CITY on an annual basis, no <br /> later than June 30 of each fiscal year. <br /> <br /> 5. Use of Program Revenue. The CITY agrees that all license <br />fees and animal fines, forfeitures or other related animal fees <br />collected by the COUNTY shall be retained by COUNTY and used for <br />the support of the Animal Control Program. It is further <br />understood that any fees collected for redemption or sale of <br />impounded animals shall be retained by the COUNTY and/or COUNTY <br />CONTRACTOR in accordance with the provisions of said contract <br />between the COUNTY and COUNTY CONTRACTOR, and such fees shall be <br />used for the support of the Animal Control Program. <br /> <br /> 6. Program Deficit or Surplus. CITY and COUNTY shall share <br />in covering any program deficit or receiving any program surplus. <br />At the end of every second fiscal year, COUNTY will determine and <br />provide to the CITY an itemization of the actual cost of the animal <br /> 11 <br /> <br /> <br />
