2/28/00 <br />O R I G I N A L <br />RESOLUTION NO. 13841 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE BLOMQUIST <br />STREET EXTENSION WETLANDS MITIGATION PLAN; <br />AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID <br />WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 13817, adopted January 24, <br />2000, the City Clerk advertised for bids for the Blomquist Street Extension <br />Wetlands Mitigation Plan in the City of Redwood City, California; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement, six bids were received for the <br />performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br />WHEREAS, Bellicitti and Pellicciotti Construction Company, Inc. of Santa <br />Clara, California is the lowest responsible bidder, and it is the intention and <br />desire of this Council to award said bid to Bellicitti and Pellicciotti Construction <br />Company, Inc.; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The bid of Bellicitti and Pellicciotti Construction Company, Inc. in the <br />amount of Sixty -nine Thousand Eighty -five and 35/100 Dollars ($69,085.35), <br />computed in accordance with bidder's proposal dated February 16, 2000 for the <br />Blomquist Street Extension Wetlands Mitigation Plan, is hereby accepted and <br />said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for <br />said work. <br />Reso -831 1 <br />DES:djk <br />R /Shared /Redwood /Cou nci <br />02/22/2000 <br />
