2/14/00 <br />0 R I 6 I N A L <br />RESOLUTION NO. 13834 <br />RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING SUBMITTAL DATE FOR <br />PROPOSED BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 2000 -01, SETTING <br />TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING THEREON, AND <br />ESTABLISHING DATE OF ADOPTION OF THE FINAL BUDGET <br />FOR SAID FISCAL YEAR <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 51 of the Charter of the City of <br />Redwood City, May 24, 2000, is hereby established as the date by which the <br />proposed budget for 2000 -01 fiscal year shall be submitted to this Council by the <br />City Manager. <br />2. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 51.5 of the Charter of the City of <br />Redwood City, June 26, 2000, at 7:30 o'clock P.M., or as soon thereafter as the <br />matter may be heard, at City Hall, the City Council Chamber, 1017 Middlefield <br />Road, Redwood City, California, is hereby set as the time and place for public <br />hearing on the budget for fiscal year 2000 -01; said date is hereby established as <br />the date of introduction for the ordinance adopting said budget; and July 10, <br />2000, is hereby established as the date of final adoption of said ordinance. <br />3. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to cause notice to be <br />published of the availability for inspection of copies of the proposed budget, and <br />stating the time and place at which the Council will hold a public hearing thereon <br />in accordance with Section 51.5 of the Charter of the City of Redwood City. <br />Reso -812 1 <br />R /Shared /Redwood /Council <br />02/14/00 <br />DES:djk <br />
