upon demand by City. Permittee further acknowledges and agrees that in the <br />event of removal, damage, destruction, or otherwise altering of condition of said <br />underground conduits with communication lines by third parties, Permittee shall <br />reconstruct, reinstall, and repair said underground conduits with communication <br />lines at its own cost and expense upon request of City so to do. <br />In the event the City, its agents, employees, contractors, or <br />subcontractors damage or otherwise alter the conditions of the said underground <br />conduits with communication lines or any portion thereof, in connection with the <br />ownership and use of City- dedicated right -of -way adjacent to and abutting the <br />Subject Premises, Permittee shall promptly reconstruct, reinstall, or repair said <br />underground conduits with communication lines and shall bear all costs and <br />expense of the reconstruction, reinstallation, and repair. <br />7. Permittee's oblinabon of Removal Permittee shall, upon receipt of <br />notice so to do, and within such time limit as may be fixed by said notice, alter, <br />remove, or relocate at the expense of Permittee the said underground conduits <br />with communication lines or any portion thereof to such extent as may be <br />necessary, in City's opinion, to avoid interference with any pipe, street, or utility <br />facility or other structure or use now or hereafter to be constructed by the City, or <br />with any operations of the City of Redwood City, or with any use by the City of <br />Redwood City of the Subject Premises. <br />8.
