11/22/99 <br /> - ORIGINAL - <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13797 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF <br /> TWELVE (12) TRUCKS; AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> PURCHASE DOCUMENTS THEREFOR <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 2.65 of the Redwood <br /> City Code, the City Manager caused public notice inviting bids to be published <br /> for the purchase of twelve (12) trucks for the Public Works Services Department, <br /> Community Development Department and Parks, Recreation and Community <br /> Services Department of the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said publication three bids were received; and <br /> WHEREAS, S & C Ford, Inc. of San Francisco, California is the lowest <br /> responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of this Council to accept the <br /> bid of S & C Ford, Inc.; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of S & C Ford, Inc., in the total amount of Two Hundred Eleven <br />Thousand Eighty-seven and 44/100 Dollars ($211,087.44), computed in <br />accordance with said bidder's proposal dated October 20, 1999 for the sale of <br />twelve (12) trucks, which bid is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which <br />reference is hereby made for the full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and <br /> <br />Reso-777 <br />FXS:djk <br />F:/Shared/Shared/Redwood/Council <br />11/01/99 <br /> <br /> <br />
