'~ R I G I N A L 11/8/99 <br /> <br /> R E S O L U T I O N _N O. 13786 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING [BID FOR WlNSLOW STREET LANE <br /> RECONFIGURATION PROJECT; AND AUTHORIZING <br /> EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, written bids without public advertisement were solicited for <br /> <br /> the Winslow Street Lane Reconfiguration Project in the City of Redwood City; <br /> <br /> and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said solicitation two bids were received; and <br /> WHEREAS, Chrisp Company of Fremont, California, was the lowest <br /> responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of this Council to accept the <br /> bid of Chrisp Company; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> <br /> CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of Chrisp Company, in the total amount of Fifteen Thousand <br /> <br />One Hundred Ninety-two and 50/100 Dollars ($15,192.50), computed in <br />accordance with said bidder's proposal dated October 27, 1999, is hereby <br />accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest <br />responsible bidder for said work. <br /> <br /> 2. That certain agreement entitled, "Agreement" (form dated 10/29/99), by <br /> <br />and between the City of Redwood City, a municipal corporation of the State of <br />California and Chrisp Company, a copy of which agreement is on file in the <br /> <br />Reso-774 <br />F:~shared\Redwood\Council~Reso <br />DES:djk <br />10/29/99 <br /> <br /> <br />
