11/8/99 <br /> <br /> OR IGINAL <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13777 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br /> OF AGREEMENT FOR DAYBREAK SHELTER FOR HOMELESS <br /> YOUTH <br /> <br /> (YOUTH AND FAMILY ASSISTANCE) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Youth and Family Assistance (Contractor) conducts a shelter for <br />homeless youth program for residents of the City of Redwood City (the Program); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to conduct <br /> <br />the Program during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1999, and ending June 30, 2000; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to <br />allocate to Contractor, the sum of Ten Thousand and no/100 Dollars ($10,000.00) from <br />its Community Development Block Grant funds for the foregoing purposes; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an agreement providing for such funding has been presented to, and <br />reviewed by, this Council; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve said <br /> <br />agreement and authorize its execution; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement entitled, "Agreement for Daybreak Shelter for Homeless <br />Youth," (form dated 10/15/99), by and between the City of Redwood City and Youth <br />and <br /> <br /> <br />
