11/8/99 <br /> <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13769 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br /> OF AGREEMENT FOR YOUTH AND FAMILY COUNSELING <br /> <br /> (FAMILY SERVICE AGENCY OF SAN MATEO COUNTY) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, The Family Service Agency of San Mateo County (Contractor) <br />conducts counseling services to at-risk youth and their families with a focus toward early <br />intervention and prevention of criminal and delinquent behavior for residents of the City <br />of Redwood City (the Program); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to conduct <br /> <br />the Program during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1999, and ending June 30, 2000; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to <br />allocate to Contractor, the sum of Five Thousand and no/100 Dollars ($5,000.00) from <br />its Community Development Block Grant funds for the foregoing purposes; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an agreement providing for such funding has been presented to, and <br />reviewed by, this Council; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve said <br /> <br />agreement and authorize its execution; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> <br />
