11/8/99 <br /> <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13767 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> AGREEMENT FOR CLARA-MATEO HOMELESS REHABILITATION SHELTER <br /> <br /> (CLARA-MATEO ALLIANCE, INC.) <br /> <br /> WltEREAS, Clara-Mateo Alliance, Inc., is a private, non-profit organization that <br />provides a homeless rehabilitation shelter program for homeless individuals, couples and <br />families, which services are in furtherance of the public health, welfare and benefit; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Clara-Mateo Alliance, Inc., has requested financial assistance for use by it <br />in conducting its activities during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1999 and ending June 30, <br />2000; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to allocate <br />to Contractor, the sum of Fifteen Thousand and no/100 Dollars ($15,000.00) from the <br />Community Development Block Grant funds for the foregoing purposes; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an agreement providing for such funding has been presented to, and <br />reviewed by, this Council; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve said agreement and <br />authorize its execution; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />10/15/99 <br /> <br /> <br />
