10/25/99 <br /> <br /> OR IGINAL <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13756 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING PURCHASE OF 50 MOBILE <br /> RADIOS FOR THE POLICE DEPARTMENT AND <br /> AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF PURCHASE DOCUMENTS IN <br /> CONNECTION THEREWITH <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 2.76 of the Redwood City Code, this <br />Council has suspended the requirements of Article VII of Chapter 2 of the Code of <br />the City of Redwood City relating to competitive bidding for the hereinafter <br />described purchase; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Police Department requires the purchase of Fifty (50) <br />mobile radios; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council desires to approve the purchase of said radios in <br />an amount not to exceed Forty-seven Thousand Six Hundred Eighty-eight and <br /> <br />84/100 Dollars ($47,688.84); <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1.
