Signs shall be evenly distributed down each <br />street and secured to a visible mounting surface, such as light <br />posts, parking meters, or standalone A -frame sign holders. The <br />"No Parking" signs mustff�ay be purchased at the Permittee's <br />expense from the Parks and Recreation, Community Services <br />Department. <br />2. "No Parking" signs must be posted seventy-two (721 hours in <br />advance of the parking closure and the signs must state the date <br />and time "No Parking" is to be enforced. <br />3. The movement or posting of "No Parking" signs not previously <br />scheduled and approved due to weather conditions, location <br />problems, or matters out of the Permittee's control,etc, may not be <br />done without the approval of the Police Department. <br />4. Illegally parked vehiclesautes (in violation of temporary "No <br />Parking" signs) may be cited if the posting is confirmed to be in <br />compliance with the Police Department quidelinesG ii i. All <br />efforts to locate owners will be made to avoid towing the vehicle, <br />with the exception of an extreme situation and only then at the <br />direction of the Police Department. <br />5. All posting instructions must be followed in order for the posting to <br />be legal. <br />Street Closure <br />Permittee must file a Temporary Street Closure Application with the Police <br />Department in accordance with City Code Section 33A, Article I. <br />A. Notification of event details must be provided to all neighboring businesses. <br />The approved format should be requested from the Parks, Recreation and <br />Community Services Department.
