8.113. - Page 60 of 72 <br />1 <br />private security personnel. The Permittee is Permittees oro responsible for <br />all costs associated with private security. <br />1. The purpose of Police presence during events is to ensure public <br />safety, keep the peace, and enforce relevant laws, codes, and <br />ordinances. More common duties include traffic direction and <br />enforcement of event -specific conditions. <br />2. Private security providedpe4bnTied by the Permittee will include <br />checking IDs to prevent underage pAef-aged drinking, collecting <br />tickets at the entry and other appropriate tasks to promote order <br />during the event. Private security must be licensed and insured <br />and provide the same indemnity agreement insurance <br />documentation as the Permittee pursuant to Attachment al. <br />3. An appropriate balance between Police and private security, <br />including staffing levels will be determined by the City. <br />4. A contact person, who represents represeRtinn the Permittee and <br />is listed in the Permittee's application, must be at the event for its <br />entire duration, and must have a copy of the Event Permit available <br />for review. <br />SECTION 78: FIRE DEPARTMENT <br />A. A—Fire Department review of the application, including type of event, <br />proposed equipment, and projected attendance, will occur when reviewing <br />the application to determine if the scope of the event shall require Fire Code <br />Permits that are handled separately of this process/ordinance..- Fire Code <br />Permit Application includes, but is not limited to: <br />1. Places of assembly (seventy-five (75) or more people); <br />2. Tents, canopies and temporary membrane structures; <br />3. Tent/structures equal to or greater than two hundred (200) square <br />feet; <br />4. Canopies equal to or greater than four hundred (4001 square feet; <br />5. Open flame except candles which shall be used in accordance with <br />the City's Fire Code; <br />6. Regulations for vendorveader and/4-or cooking booths; <br />7.
