8.13. - Page 62 of 72 <br />SECTION 940: ALCOHOL <br />B -.A. Only a licensed caterer or a non-profit with proof of Liquor Liability <br />Insurance Coverage may serve alcohol with approval from the Redwood City <br />Police Department and a permit from the State Department of Alcoholic <br />Beverage Control (ABC). <br />GB. The Permittee must obtain signature of approval from the Redwood <br />City Police Department and the Parks, Recreation and Community Services <br />Department on the ABC application before ABC will issue a Permit. <br />9-.C. The Permittee must hand --deliver a copy of the ABC permit and Liquor <br />Liability Insurance and endorsements, as required in Attachment W2, to the <br />Parks, Recreation and Community ServicesQedweed Gity o^';^o n,o„+ <br />in order to serve alcohol at the event. <br />D. During the event, the Permittee is responsible for ensuring that: <br />1. Alcohol servers are at least twenty-one 1211 years of age; <br />2. No person under the age of twenty-one (211 years is served <br />alcohol; <br />3. No person is served who appears to be intoxicated; and <br />4. Alcohol is consumed only within the defined area, as approved by <br />the Police Department. <br />E. Police may prohibit the sale of alcohol at any time during the event if it is <br />determined that these regulations are not adhered to or in the interest of <br />public safety_ <br />SECTION 10: VIOLATION OF THESE GUIDELINES <br />Whenever a Permittee or those under the control of the Permittee violate any <br />condition contained in these Guidelines, the Director of the Parks, Recreation <br />and Community Services Department may revoke the Event Permit. It shall be <br />unlawful for any person to continue to engage in an activity for which a permit <br />was required and issued after the Event Permit has been revoked pursuant to <br />City Code Chapter 33A, Article III, provided, however, that no person shall be in <br />violation of Citv Code until notice has been aiven that the Event Permit has been <br />revoked. <br />Page 16 of 26 <br />254 <br />
