Section 2.110, et seq., Gi„in Cultural Gemmiooien Arts Commission. <br />[Subsections B-E are unchanged] <br />DIVISION 2. - CIVIC CULTURAL COMMISSION ARTS COMMISSION <br />Sec. 2.110. -ESTABLISHED; COMPOSITION; QUALIFICATIONS OF MEMBE GENERAL <br />OBJECTIVES: <br />There is hereby established an GiVi^ UIWFa' GGFnFniSS Arts Commission. The general <br />objectives of the Arts Commission shall be to ensure that art, culture, and creative experiences <br />are woven into the fabric of the community, and to shall encourage, foster, facilitate, establish, <br />and maintain art and programs for all matters of artistic and cultural significance in the City. whiGh <br />photography,shall Gensist ef seven (7) members appeinted by the GeuRGil. At least feur (4) SuGh members shall <br />arGhiteGtUre, industrial design, landSGape aFGhiteGtUre, literature, FnUSOG, painting, <br />SGUlpture, and theater arts. All suGh memb <br />shall be persons who have dernORstrated a deep interest OR, and appreGiation of, artiStiG and <br />GUItYral matters. A” SUGh members shall, at the time ef their appointment and Gentinuously duFiRg <br />their iRGUrnbennY reside within the City. <br />Sec. 2.111. - TERMS OF MEMBERS COMPOSITION, QUALIFICATIONS OF MEMBERS: <br />serve until nein respeGtive suGGessers are appeinted and qualified. The Arts Commission shall <br />consist of seven (7) members aDDointed by the Citv Council. All such members shall be Dersons <br />who have demonstrated a deep interest in and appreciation of artistic and cultural matters. At <br />least four (4) such members shall be persons active in and representative of one or more of the <br />following fields: architecture, art, design, video/film, literary arts, marketing/advertising, music, <br />public relations, theater, or visual arts. All such members shall, at the time of their appointment <br />and continuously durina their incumbencv. be residents of the Citv. <br />Sec. 2.112. - GENERAL OBjECTniGc TERMS OF MEMBERS: <br />and GUltural signifiGanne in the (moi+„. The term of office of each member of the Arts Commission <br />shall be four (4) years, expiring on May 31 of the fourth year; provided, however, that <br />appointments to the Arts Commission shall be made such that terms shall expire in even - <br />numbered vears.
