6.F. - Page 4 of 13 <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />Funds in the amount of $1,284,360.39 are available in the FY 2018-19 Equipment Replacement Fund <br />Budget for the purchase. This amount will be subsequently recovered from the operating budget of the <br />Fire Department through vehicle replacement charges in future years. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW <br />This activity is not a project under California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) as defined in CEQA <br />Guidelines, section 15378, because it has no potential for resulting in either a direct or reasonably <br />foreseeable indirect physical change in the environment. <br />PUBLIC NOTICE <br />Public Notification was achieved by posting the agenda, with the agenda items being listed, at least 72 <br />hours prior to the meeting. <br />ALTERNATIVES <br />The following alternatives are available to the City Council: <br />1. The City Council may elect not to approve the purchase of the new Aerial Fire Apparatus. The <br />operations of the Fire Department would be adversely impacted due to conditions of the existing <br />Aerial Fire Apparatus. <br />2.
