WHEREAS, this Council desires to approve and authorize execution of <br />said agreements; <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. That certain sponsor agreement by and between the City of Redwood <br />City and the California Conservation Corps, State of California, entitled, <br />"Sponsor Agreement (CCC-96) (Public/Governmental Entity)," a copy of which is <br />on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for <br />the full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the City Manager and City <br />Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute, and to attest thereto, <br />respectively, said agreement for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> 2. This Council hereby finds and determines that that certain project <br /> entitled "Riparian Restoration" as described in that certain addendum/sub- <br /> agreement to the Sponsor Agreement referenced in paragraph 3 hereof shall, <br /> based upon detailed estimates submitted by the Department of Public Works <br /> Services, be executed directly by the City pursuant to Section 67 of the Charter <br /> of the City of Redwood City; provided, that said work shall be performed jointly <br /> with forces of the California Conservation Corps pursuant to the hereinafter <br /> referenced addendum/sub-agreement. <br /> 3. That certain Addendum/Sub-agreement to the Sponsor Agreement for <br /> the project entitled, "Riparian Restoration," dated as of August 31, 1999, by the <br /> California Conservation Corps, a copy of which Addendum/Sub-agreement is on <br /> <br /> Reso-740 2 13733 <br /> F:~hared~edwood\CouncJl <br /> OES:rg <br /> 09/01/99 <br /> <br /> <br />
