8/23/99 <br /> <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13730 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 13622 REGARDING THE <br /> ESTABLISHMENT OF THE ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW COMMITTEE OF <br /> THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on May 17, 1999, the Council of the City of Redwood City adopted a <br />resolution (Resolution No. 13632) rescinding Resolution Nos. 11497 and 12977 and <br />establishing the Architectural Review Committee; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the workload of the Architectural Review Committee continues to <br />increase as the level of development accelerates and the range of projects for which they <br />are responsible broadens; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is difficult with the current membership to guarantee a quorum for <br />action at any given meeting; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, because of the crowded agendas, it is essential that the Committee be <br />able to made decisions on a regular basis; and <br /> WHEREAS, this committee desires that alternate members be able to serve on this <br /> Committee primarily for the purpose of participating and voting in the event that another <br /> member or other members of this Committee cannot participate or vote because of a <br /> conflict of interest; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Committee desires that the alternate members be former members <br /> of the Architectural Review Committee or of the Architectural Advisory Committee because <br /> of their familiarity with the process; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Redwood <br /> City, a municipal corporation of the State of California, as follows: <br /> <br /> Reso-730 <br /> F/sh/sh/RC/Council <br /> FXS:rg <br /> 08/18/99 <br /> <br /> <br />
