8/23/99 <br /> <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> (07/26/99) <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13720 <br /> <br /> Resolution Approving And Authorizing Execution Of <br /> Agreement With Service League of San Mateo County - Hope House <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Service League of San Mateo County - Hope House is a private, non-profit <br />organization that provides provides a 180 recovery program for women who are released from the San <br />Mateo Women's Recovery Center who wish to resolve their alcohol and/or drug addictions, which services <br />are in furtherance of the public health, welfare and benefit; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Service League of San Mateo County - Hope House, has requested financial <br />assistance for use by it in conducting its activities during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1999 and <br />ending June 30, 2000; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to enter into an <br />agreement with Service League of San Mateo County - Hope House to provide financial assistance in <br /> <br />fudherance of its public purposes; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE iT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CiTY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement (form dated 7/26/99), by and between the City of Redwood City and <br />Service League of San Mateo County - Hope House a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of <br />the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and <br />the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute the same for and on behalf of the City of <br />Redwood City. <br /> <br /> <br />
