8/23/99 <br /> <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> (07/26/99) <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13717 <br /> <br /> Resolution Approving And Authorizing Execution Of <br /> Agreement With Mills-Peninsula Senior Focus (RSVP) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, MiIIs-Peninsula Senior Focus (RSVP) is a private, non-profit organization that <br />provides volunteer opportunities for people age 55 and older with a myriad of experience and interests <br />from all economic, educational, and social backgrounds, which services are in furtherance of the public <br />health, welfare and benefit; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Mills-Peninsula Senior Focus (RSVP), has requested financial assistance for use by <br />it in conducting its activities during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1999 and ending June 30, 2000; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to enter into an <br />agreement with Mills-Peninsula Senior Focus (RSVP) to provide financial assistance in furtherance of its <br />public purposes; <br /> <br /> NQW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement (form dated 7/26/99), by and between the City of Redwood City and Mills- <br />Peninsula Senior Focus (RSVP) a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to <br />which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the City Manager <br />is hereby authorized and directed to execute the same for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br /> <br />
