ORIGINAL <br /> - 8/23/99 <br /> <br /> (07/26/99) <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13705 <br /> <br /> Resolution Approving And Authorizing Execution Of <br /> Agreement With Boys and Girls Club of the Peninsula <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Boys and Girls Club of the Peninsula is a private, non-profit organization that <br />provides provide a safe, positive, and fun place to inspire and enable all young people to relize their full <br />potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens, which services are in furtherance of the public <br />health, welfare and benefit; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Boys and Girls Club of the Peninsula, has requested financial assistance for use by it <br />in conducting its activities during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1999 and ending June 30, 2000; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to enter into an <br />agreement with Boys and Girls Club of the Peninsula to provide financial assistance in furtherance of its <br />public purposes; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement (form dated 7/26/99), by and between the City of Redwood City and Boys <br />and Girls Club of the Peninsula a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which <br />copy reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the City Manager is <br />hereby authorized and directed to execute the same for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br /> <br />
