EXHIBIT A <br /> <br /> CERTIFICATE OF CITY CLERK AS TO RESULTS <br /> OF THE CANVASS OF ELECTION RETURNS <br /> <br /> REDWOOD SHORES COMMUNITY FACILITIES DISTRICT NO. 99-1 <br /> (SHORES TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT PROJECT) <br /> OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> <br /> I hereby certify that I have examined the returns of the election held on July 30, 1999, in <br />Redwood Shores Community Facilities District No. 99-1 (Shores Transportation Improvement <br />Project) of the City of Redwood City (the "District"), which election was on the proposition set forth <br />below; that the total number of votes cast in said election and the total number of votes cast for and <br />against the proposition are as follows; and that the totals shown for and against the proposition are <br />full, true, and correct: <br /> <br /> YES: 266 <br /> NO: 21 <br /> <br /> TOTAL NUMBER OF VOTES CAST: 287 <br /> <br />PROPOSITION A: Shall Redwood Shores Community Facilities District No. 99-1 (Shores <br />Transportation Improvement Project) of the City of Redwood City be authorized to issue <br />$13,535,000 of bonds to finance certain public facilities (including streets, traffic signals, street <br />intersections, and freeway interchanges and incidental improvements) and incidental expenses; shall <br />special taxes be levied to pay for such improvements and expenses and for periodic costs, including <br />debt service, related to such bonds; and shall the District's annual appropriations limit (commencing <br />July 1, 1999) equal $13,535,000, all as provided in Resolutions 13610 and 13611 of the City? <br /> <br /> Dated this 9th day of August, 1999. <br /> <br /> City Clerk <br /> City of Redwood City <br /> <br />17380.2~22931.0003 1 3 6 9 3 <br /> <br /> <br />
