0 R I G I N A L 7/26/99 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13687 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION AMENDING THE GENERAL PLAN OF THE CITY <br /> OF REDWOOD CITY TO CHANGE THE LAND USE <br /> DESIGNATION OF CERTAIN LANDS IN THE VICINITY OF <br /> WALNUT STREET AND BAYSHORE FREEWAY FROM <br /> "INDUSTRIAL" TO "COMMERCIAL" <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a proposed amendment to the General Plan of the City of <br />Redwood City has been presented to this Council to change the designation in <br />the Land Use element of the General Plan of the City of Redwood City of certain <br />lands in the vicinity of Walnut Street and Bayshore Freeway, as shown on Exhibit <br />"A" hereof, attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference, from the <br />"Industrial" to "Commercial" designation; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, said proposed amendment has been duly reviewed by the <br />Planning Commission of the City of Redwood City and forwarded by said <br />commission to this Council with a recommendation that said amendment be <br />adopted; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council, after public hearing duly noticed and held, <br /> <br />desires to amend the General Plan in the manner proposed; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain proposed amendment to the Land Use Element of the <br />General Plan of the City of Redwood City revising the designation of those <br /> <br />Reso-688 <br />f:~shared~redwood\cou ncil <br />DES:rg <br />06/08/99 <br /> <br /> <br />
