7/26/99 <br /> <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13685 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE REPLACEMENT <br /> AND/OR REPAIR OF MOTORS FOR THE VARIOUS PUMP <br /> STATIONS IN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY; AND <br /> AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF PURCHASE DOCUMENTS <br /> THEREFOR <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 2.65 of the Redwood <br /> <br />City Code, the City Manager caused public notice inviting bids to be published for <br />the replacement and/or repair of motors for the various pumps stations in the <br />City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said publications three bids were received; and <br />WHEREAS, Vincent Electric of San Jose, California, for motor <br />replacement and/or repair, is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention <br /> <br />and desire of this Council to accept the bid of Vincent Electric; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of Vincent Electric, in the total amount of Twenty-seven <br />Thousand Two Hundred Fifty-six and 80/100 Dollars ($27,256.80), computed in <br />accordance with said bidder's proposal dated June 11, 1999, for replacement <br />and/or repair of water, storm and sanitary sewer motors for the various pump <br />stations, which bid is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which reference is <br />hereby made for the full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and said bidder <br /> <br /> Reso-474 1 <br /> DES:djk <br /> F :lSharedlSharedlRedweod/Council <br /> 07/09/99 <br /> <br /> <br />
