Bolanos Telephone (650) 780-7122 <br /> Police Chief FAX Line (650) 780-7149 <br /> <br /> Exhibit A <br /> <br /> June 28,1999 <br /> <br /> Mr. Robert Slusser <br /> Peninsula Celebration Association <br /> 814 Hamilton Street <br /> Redwood City, CA 94063 <br /> <br /> Re: The Fourth of July Parade, Festival, and Arts and Craft Fair <br /> <br /> Dear Mr. Slusser: <br /> <br /> The City Council on April 26, 1999, by Resolution XXXXX, has authorized me to <br /> issue this letter permitting the Peninsula Celebration Association to conduct the <br /> Fourth of July Parade, Festival, and Arts and Crafts activities subject to, and in <br /> accordance with, the terms and conditions herein. <br /> <br /> The permission herein granted is to the Peninsula Celebration Association <br /> (hereinafter, for convenience, called "Permittee"). This permit is subject to the <br /> following terms and conditions: <br /> <br />1. Parade, Festival, and Arts and Craft Fair: Said activities shall be sponsored <br /> by the Permittee. <br /> <br />2. Revocation: This permit may be revoked at any time without cause by the <br /> City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />3. Non-Transferability: This permit is non-transferable. <br /> <br />4. Location: The parade herein permitted shall be conducted and the route <br /> reserved therefor, in the areas shown on the attached map, on letter dated <br /> February 2, 1999. The fair and festival herein permitted shall be conducted <br /> and the streets reserved therefore on Broadway between Main and Winslow <br /> Streets, and Hamilton and Middlefield Streets between Theater/Middlefield <br /> and Marshall Street. In conjunction with the fireworks display and in <br /> agreement with the affected property owners, Chesapeake Drive shall be <br /> <br /> 1 ].3665 <br /> <br /> <br />
