6/28/99 <br /> - ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13663 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br /> OF AGREEMENT WITH THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO FOR <br /> CERTAIN SERVICES RELATING TO GENERAL MUNICIPAL <br /> ELECTION OF NOVEMBER 2, 1999 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 4 of the Charter of the <br />City of Redwood City and Ordinance No. 2078, adopted April 11, 1994, the General <br />Municipal Election of thc City of Redwood City shall be held in said City on the <br />same day as School District Elections, to wit: the first Tuesday after the first <br />Monday in November of each odd-numbered year; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the General Municipal Election of the City of Redwood City <br />shall he held on November 2, 1999, and shall be consolidated with School District <br />Elections to be held on said date; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the County of San Mateo provides certain services pertaining to <br />the conduct of elections as set forth more fully in the Agreement hereinafter <br />referenced; and <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain Agreement by and between the City of Redwood City, a <br />municipal corporation of the State of California, and the County of San Mateo, <br />entitled "Service Agreement for the Provision of Election Services Between City of <br />Redwood City and San Mateo County Assessor-County Clerk-Recorder" for the <br /> <br /> <br />
