CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 4 of the Charter of the City of <br /> Redwood City and Ordinance No. 2078, adopted April 11, 1994, a <br /> General Municipal Election shall be held on November 2, 1999, for the <br /> purpose of electing four (4) Council Members for the full term of four (4) <br /> years each. <br /> <br /> 2. The Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, California, is <br /> hereby requested, pursuant to the provisions of Elections Code Sections <br /> 10402 and 10403, to consolidate the General Municipal Election of the <br /> City of Redwood City with the School District Elections within the same <br /> territory, or partially within the same territory, to be held on November <br /> 2, 1999. <br /> <br /> 3. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to publish, or cause to <br /> be published, notice of the aforesaid General Municipal Election in the <br /> Official Newspaper of the City of Redwood City, within the time, and in <br /> the form and manner required by law, <br /> <br /> 4. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to transmit certified <br /> copies of this resolution to the Board of Supervisors, County of San <br /> Mateo, California and to the Elections Official of said County. <br /> <br /> Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Redwood City at a <br /> regular meeting held on the 28th day of June, 1999. <br /> <br /> 13662 <br /> <br /> <br />
