Proposal For City of Redwood City Emergency Management Training and Consultation
A. TRANSMITTAL LETTER
Enclosed is Aanko Technologies Inc.'s official response to the City of Redwood City Fire
Department's Request for a Proposal to provide Emergency Management Training and
Consultation in the form of two Tasks.
Task 1 is the development and facilitation of two training modules to comply with California
State mandated Standardized Incident Management System (SEMS) training, as well as federally
mandated National Incident Management System (NIMS) training.
Task 2 would assist the City in exercise and drill consultation and training under the direction of
the Emergency Operations Manager to prepare for the statewide Golden Guardian Exercise 2006
in November 2006.
Our proposal identifies several unique processes to improve emergency response and reduce
overall costs to the City. This is accomplished through project task integration of the City's
Emergency Operations Plan previously developed by Aanko Technologies for the City of
Redwood City and the Port of Redwood City.
The training and consultation strategies noted in the proposal have arisen out of our previous
experience in conducting emergency management projects for other clients in the USA,
particularly within California. Our expectation and commitment is to conduct and complete our
two tasks by November 20,2006, at a total project price of $27,645.00 (See section E., page 7).
I am confident through our enthusiasm and professional expertise, coupled with City staff
support, this project will successfully meet the City of Redwood City's needs in providing for the
public safety, as well as complying with federal and state mandates.
Respectfully,
--..
f.J Steve Longoria ?~'-=
-'" o.te: 2006.07.10
--- 11:25:12.Ol5'OCJ'
Steve Longoria, CCP, CHS-III, CPM
Chief Executive Officer
steve.longoria@aanko.com
Aanko Technologies Inc. www.aanko.('ol1l 2
-
