<br />populations are proposed to be built in Redwood City that will require this expertise; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to provide <br /> <br />technical development assistance and services to non-profit affordable housing <br /> <br />developers who are building HOME eligible special needs housing for residents of City <br /> <br />during the fiscal year commencing July 1 , 2006, and ending June 30, 2007; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City has reviewed said request and desires to allocate to Contractor <br /> <br />the sum of Forty Eight Thousand, Two Hundred Eighty One and No/100 Dollars <br /> <br />($48,281.00) from its HOME Investment Partnership funds for the Program; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Exhibit A is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference: <br /> <br />Exhibit A: Program Services & Budget. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> <br />1 . Financial Assistance. City shall allocate to Contractor the sum Forty <br /> <br />Eight Thousand, Two Hundred Eighty One and No/100 Dollars ($48,281.00) for <br /> <br />exclusive use by Contractor during the fiscal year commencing on July 1, 2006, and <br /> <br />ending June 30,2007, solely for the purposes described in paragraph 2. <br /> <br />2. Terms of FinancinQ. The terms of financing shall be as follows. These <br /> <br />funds shall be provided as grant conditioned upon Contractor providing services to <br /> <br />Mental Health Association within 24 months from the date of this Agreement. <br /> <br />3. Use of Funds Contractor.
