<br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />AGREEMENT <br /> <br />Rebuilding Together <br />Rebuild Day for Very Low Income <br /> <br />THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this o~f day<Of ~GeI.6:r- <br />,2006, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a charter city and <br />municipal corporation of the State of California ("City") and Rebuilding Together, <br />a California nonprofit organization ("Contractor") (collectively the "Parties"); <br /> <br />WIT N E SSE T H: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Contractor provides Rebuilding Day activities to households <br />at or below 50% of the median income who are residents of the City; and <br />WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to <br />complete the Project that will benefit residents of City during the fiscal year <br />commencing July 1, 2006, and ending June 30, 2007; and <br />WHEREAS, City has reviewed said request and the Project and desires to <br />allocate to Contractor the sum of Twelve Thousand Five Hundred and no/100 <br /> <br />Dollars ($12,500.00) from its Community Development Block Grant funds for the <br />Project; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the Parties hereby agree as follows: <br />1. FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE. City will allocate to Contractor the sum <br />of Twelve Thousand Five Hundred and no/100 Dollars ($12,500.00) for <br />exclusive use by Contractor during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2006, and <br />ending June 30, 2007, solely for the purposes described in Paragraph 2. <br />2. USE OF FUNDS. Contractor will use the funds provided pursuant to <br />Paragraph 1 solely for the Project purposes described in Exhibits A (Contractor <br />Objectives) and Exhibit B (Budget) and Exhibit C (Environmental Reviews) for <br /> <br />A TTY / AG R/2006. 048 <br />081606 <br />
