ORIGINAL AGREEMENT Inn Vision the Way Home Adult Shelter and Family Shelter THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this 6# day of ~~~.e..- 2006, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a charter city and municipal corporation of the State of California ("City") and Innvision the Way Home, a California nonprofit organization ("Contractor") (collectively the "Parties"). WIT N E SSE T H: WHEREAS, Contractor provides a homeless shelter; and WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to conduct the program described in the attached Exhibit A (Contractor Objectives), which is incorporated herein by this reference (the "Program"), for residents of City during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2006, and ending June 30, 2007; and WHEREAS, City Council has reviewed Contractor's request; finds that providing the financial assistance will benefit Redwood City and its citizens; and, desires to allocate to Contractor the sum of Ten Thousand and no/100 Dollars ($10,000). NOW, THEREFORE, the Parties hereby agree as follows: 1. FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE. City will allocate to Contractor the sum of Ten Thousand and no/100 Dollars ($10,000) for exclusive use by Contractor during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2006, and ending June 30, 2007, solely for the purposes described in Paragraph 2. 2. USE OF FUNDS. CO:ltractor will use the funds provided pursuant to Paragraph 1 solely for the Program purposes described in Exhibits A (Contractor Objectives) and Exhibit B (Budget).
