Environmental planning, design and assessment <br /> PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE <br /> Ms. Cutler is a city planner with experience with public agencies and private firms on the east and <br /> west coasts. Her work emphasizes an approach to projects that is inclusive and efficient. Her <br /> range of experience includes urban design, transit planning, environmental preservation, data <br /> analysis and presentation. Ms. Cutler worked with Project for Public Spaces, Inc. in New York City <br /> on community analysis and planning, transit study and design, and open space rehabilitation <br /> projects. She gained further experience in Boston with Community Design Partnership, assisting <br /> with transit projects like the Big Dig and land use projects ranging from single property analysis to <br /> city master plans. <br /> While completing her Masters degree in City Planning at the University of California, Berkeley, Ms. <br /> Cutler worked for the City of Palo Alto in current and advanced planning. She managed revision of <br /> the city's award winning tree preservation manual as well as creating new standards and <br /> regulations for the city's protection of trees during construction. <br /> Planning <br /> County of San Mateo Contract Planning Services. Project review and preparation of staff reports <br /> for Use Permits and Coastal Development Permits for new home construction, home additions, <br /> interment area enlargement, and major subdivision. These projects have included conflicts with <br /> zoning and environmental regulations as well as objections from the public. <br /> 439 Fuller Street Precise Plan, City of Redwood City. Assisting with preparation of precise plan <br /> and environmental review for aD-unit condominium project in downtown Redwood City. Prepared <br /> analysis of plan criteria with draft Downtown Precise Plan guidelines. <br /> City of Oakland Central Lower San Antonio Neighborhood Specific Plan. Planner and designer for <br /> study and proposal for improvements of the Central Lower San Antonio Neighborhood. The plan <br /> was produced as a joint effort between UC Berkeley and local community organizations. The plan <br /> was primarily intended for the use of local organizations and citizens in their efforts to improve the <br /> area. <br /> Environmental Documentation and Resource Studies <br /> Riverside Bridge Replacement Project. Ms. Cutler is currently preparing the required U.S. Army <br /> Corp of Engineers and Department of Fish and Game permits for Inyo County for the replacement <br /> of Riverside Bridge in Bishop, California. <br /> Dehy Park Improvements Project. Ms. Cutler is assisting in the Dehy Park Improvements project. <br /> The project involves improvements under a Sierra-Nevada Cascade Grant (SNC) as well as a <br /> Transportation Enhancement Activities (TEA) Grant. Ms. Cutler assisted in the production of <br /> several studies in support of a Categorical Exclusion with Studies from NEPA, and an Initial <br /> Study/Mitigated Negative Declaration under CEQA.
