PURPOSE OF ARTICLE: The <br /> Cauncil of the City hereby finds that a <br /> camprehensive p(an for the pfanting and <br /> maintenance of trees which are iocated <br /> within or wi�ich averhang publ'tc streets <br /> within ths Gity is requEred for pubiic safety <br /> and for the protection af the general wei- <br /> fare. This Article is adopted, therefore, for <br /> the purpase of developing and providing for <br /> such a plan and far ths purpose of estab- <br /> lishing niies and regulations retating to the <br /> ptanting, care and maintenance of such <br /> trees.
