6.1 D <br /> Page 3 <br /> AMENDMENT NO. 1 <br /> TO EXTEND AND AMEND AGREEMENT FOR <br /> 2005-2006 Comprehensive Street Tree Maintenance Contract <br /> The Professional Tree Care Company <br /> This Amendment No. 1 is entered into and effective as of the day of <br /> , 2006, amending the agreement dated November 95, 2005 <br /> (the "Agreement") by and befinreen the City af Redwood City, a charter city and <br /> municipal corparation of the State of Califomia ("City"), and The Professional Tree Care <br /> Company, ("Contracto�') {collectively, the "Parties") for performing tree maintenance <br /> services. <br /> RECITALS <br /> A. The Parties desire to amend the AgreemenYs scope of woric and the unit <br /> bid prices; and <br /> B. The Pariies have negotiated and agreed to a supplemental scope of work <br /> and fee schedule, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by this re#erence as <br /> Exhibit "A," Scope of Services and Fee. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of these recita(s and the mutual covenants <br /> contained herein, the Parties agree as foilows: <br /> 1. In addition to those senrices contained in the Agreernent, as may have <br /> been amended from fiime to time, Contracto� will provide those services described in <br /> Exhibit "A." With this Amendment, the total annuai Agreement amount shall not exceed <br /> Two Hundred Eighteen Thousand Five Hundred Ninety-Five dollars ($218,595.00). <br /> 2. City wi11 pay Contractor for aH work associated with those services <br /> described in Exhibit "A" on a unit bid price basis not-to-exceed Two Hundred Eighteen <br /> Thousand Five Hundred Ninety-Five dollars {$218,595.00). Contractor will provide City, <br /> on a monthJy basis, copies af invaices sufficiently detailed to include wark performed, <br /> unit bid rates, and related activities and costs for approval by City. <br /> 3. Contractor wil{ compfete all work described in Exhibit "A" by June 30, <br /> 2007. <br /> 4. All other provisions of the Agreement, as may Mave been amended from <br /> time to time, wifl remain in full force and effect. <br /> 5.
