D. Agreement for Consulting Services with W.H. Fawcett for consulting related to the <br />City's Interest in restoration of Bair Island, and restoring public access to the <br />levees in Redwood Shores <br />Mayor Pierce explained the status and requested approval of the agreement. <br />Recommendation: <br />M/S Howard /Ira to approve the Agreement for Consulting Services with W.H. <br />Fawcett. The motion passed by a unanimous voice vote. (304) <br />MINUTE ORDER 06 -181 <br />E. Council Member Bain — mentioned an article in the Redwood City Daily News <br />referencing the City and School District working together to improve traffic around <br />the schools. He stated it is a wide ranging collaborative effort that has been in <br />place for some time and results are now being seen in providing safe <br />transportation of students to and from school. <br />F. Council Member Aguirre — passed out letters addressed to City Council Members <br />Inviting them to the North Fair Oaks Community Festival on Sunday, September <br />17, from 11 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. On September 9, the second annual North Fair <br />Oaks Community clean -up to begin at the community center. <br />G. Vice Mayor Foust— stated that on Thursday, August 31, from 6 -8 p.m., the last <br />jazz concert for the summer will be held at Marlin Park. She invited the community <br />to attend and thanked the community for the clean up of the levees the last <br />weekend. <br />10.
