<br />EXHIBIT A <br />CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> <br />YOUTH AND FAMILY ENRICHMENT SERVICES <br /> <br />FISCAL YEAR 200612007 <br /> <br />CONTRACT OBJECTIVES <br /> <br />Quantifiable Goals to be Provided With <br />R uested Funds <br />Provide crisis intervention and suicide prevention <br />services via the 24-hour Crisis Lines to 1,500 <br />Redwood City residents. <br /> <br />Youth Intervention Team will conduct one-hour <br />educational presentations on suicide and crisis <br />intervention and prevention for 250 youth in <br />Redwood Ci . <br />Conduct Crisis interventions to 8 individuals in <br />Redwood City. <br /> <br />Demonstrate suicidal behavior by increasing <br />student knowledge of suicide prevention and <br />intervention techni ues for 250 students. <br />Train and develop 5 Crisis Center/Chat Room <br />volunteers from Redwood City. <br /> <br />Peer Mentors will conduct online chat sessions with <br />500 outh <br /> <br />Perfonnance Indicators <br />How ou will measure the uantifiable oal <br />CISPC staff and volunteers maintain a database <br />tracking system and record each call, noting length <br />of call, primary reason for call and assessment of <br />tential suicide risk. <br />Attendance tracked at presentations by anonymous <br />demographic information sheet which also asks for <br />participant's city of residence. <br /> <br /> <br />CISPC staff report on student demographic <br />information, number of contacts, outcome of the <br />intervention, and school contact name. <br />Students who attend suicide prevention <br />presentation will score 70% or higher on <br />resentation ost-test. <br />During 50-hr. quarterly volunteer training sessions <br />(mandatory for all volunteers), participants <br />com lete an extensive dem ra hic uestionnaire <br />Website records of youth who log into chat <br /> <br /># of Unduplicated RWC Residents/Households to be Assisted (Only programs serving individuals <br />ma re rt b individuals.
